I frequently am asked to do ghostwriting for busy consultants, attorneys, bankers, or wealth advisors who want to get their name out there commenting on their area of expertise. I also suggest this to company owners or managers as a way of building their brand.
I'm sometimes asked whether I have expertise in the areas that I write about. To that I reply, "My expertise is in effectively interviewing my clients - they have the expertise in their area; I take the information down that is important to incorporate into the article, along with researching the subject on my own. Then I use MY expertise as a journalist/newswriter to write it in the correct format, by the deadline that has been established.
