Writer For Hire Pat Kramer is a professional copywriter and journalist with over 30 years o
f writing experience, including ten years in radio newswriting, reporting and broadcasting and a total of 30 years as a freelance and staff news writer. She has written hundreds of articles and news stories that have appeared in magazines and newspapers across the U.S. as well as online news sites, worldwide. Since founding Writer For Hire, Southern California’s independent writing service agency, Pat has written business and corporate communications materials for medical centers, educational institutions and wide variety of businesses and industries. Her specialties include:
1. Articles that are uniquely - angled to capture readers' interests.
2. Promotional content for websites, press kits, and collateral materials.
3. Business materials for branding, PR, marketing or informational purposes.
Pat graduated from Emerson College in Boston earning a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications (Journalism & Public Reations) then spent the next seven years working as a news reporter and radio broadcaster at stations throughout New England. In 1986, she changed her focus to Cable Television, then in its infancy spending the next four years in marketing and promoting this entertainment/news resource. However, she missed the daily routine and creative challenge in writing. So in 1990, after relocating to the West Coast, she joined an ad agency in Beverly Hills where she worked behind- the-scenes. In 1990, Pat founded Writer For Hire by working as a copywriter for PR and Advertising Agencies as well as business owners from a wide spectrum of industries. Over the past 21+ years, she has written content for film studios, record labels, medical centers, educational institutions, and hundreds of companies throughout America (and Europe), helping her clients establish their brand and their target audience.
A strong advocate for animal rescue organizations, Pat has found homes for many wayward dogs and contributed time and effort to helping support non profits, particularly those that rescue animals (companion animals, farm animals and exotic and wild animals). |
